Angela K. French was born and raised in Oklahoma; however, she has spent time living in Hawaii, Northern California, and Maine. While living in Maine she felt inspired to start writing and the ideas for her first book Starbinds and the world of science fiction and romance continued to flow. She now lives back in Oklahoma where she is close to family. During the day she is a full-time registered nurse reviewing healthcare claims. She loves writing, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family, or just catching up on the latest and greatest books or television series with her two dogs close by her side.

The story revolves around Abby, a teenager whose life seems to be in order until her graduation comes to an end. After that, something weird happens to her that turns her life upside down and wakes up on another planet called Ozam. From then on, anything can happen.

Starting with a beautiful cover design that reminds me of shows like The Witcher or Legend of the Seeker, the book has a unique story that plunges the reader into an adventure with Abby, your regular 17-year-old girl living with her parents in Northern California. However, something strange happens on the night of her graduation. She had a weird accident and woke up to discover herself on another planet far more advanced than her former home.

This book takes the reader on a thrilling journey. It is set in a very well-crafted world with a good build-up of the characters, that has to be one of my favorites parts; readers get to know the characters throughout the author's description. The book has a good balance between mystery and adventure, leaving the reader with suspense wanting to know more.

You really feel like you know the characters, and have made friends with some of them, and others not so much. Love the combination of action, drama, and just a little romance. This one will keep you up all night until you read the last page
